Well, US Vice President Joe Biden officiated a wedding Monday for two longtime gay White House staffers.

The marriage of Brian Mosteller and Joe Mahshie was the first time Biden officiated a ceremony, the vice president’s office told CNN in a statement. Biden obtained a temporary certification from the District of Columbia.
