The arguments ON THIS VITAL ISSUE are polarised, with a majority insisting children should not pay tithes because they are not yet income earners.

Well what do you guys think?

In my opinion, the only authority as far as this is concerned is the word of God. What is the mind of God concerning this. Tithing is on any increase, so teaching a child to tithe tenth of money gifted them is absolutely correct because we are suppose to teach them so that when they are old they remain where they are planted.

Be that as it may, teaching children that if they dont pay tithe they wont be blessed is ANTI GODS NATURE in my view. Would it not be unGodly or unfatherly for God to say Christ has redeemed his children from the curse of the law and then let the curse of scarcity hit them because of non compliance?.  GOD IS NEVER DOUBLE STANDARD. Beside what is more important is love and justice in the words of Jesus.
